KATIE PETTIBONE

Katie Pettibone is a renowned world-class competitive sailor and leader. She has been skipper, yacht captain, and coach in a variety of races around the world. Katie is a veteran of three America’s Cup teams, two around the world races, multiple Sydney to Hobart Races, and Worrell 1000 Extreme Catamaran Race. Multiple National Champion and alternate to the Rio Games in the Nacra 17, Katie has competed at the highest levels in a variety of sports. As a collegiate sailor competing with Olympians and America’s Cup athletes, Katie was selected as the youngest member of the first all women’s America’s Cup Team in 1995. She is now regarded one of the foremost women sailors in yacht racing. She also has a Bachelor of Science and a Juris Doctor, able to practice federal and California law.
